Title: mk3 sunroof opens on its own help please

Hi

I have a mk3 8V GTI when i set the alarm sometimes ithe elec sunroof opens any idears could it be a relay going water in the sunroof any idears please. It has a full closer cobra alarm imb fitted have spoken to the instailers and they have rulled out the alarm any idears ????????????????????????

You say the alarm has JUST been put in? Got a closer module? And was the sunroof doing it before?

If it was fine before, it's the alarm doing it. Tell them to sort it.....!  :smiley:

Sounds like they got the wires in the roof mixed up . They should be the other way round .

its the alarm
I have a Sigma total closure
for some reason, sometimes when i un-lock it, both windows wind down about 6-7cms.
Thing on mine is, that the alarm came with the car, got receipt but out of warrunty.
