putting in my cd player in a 89 mk2 gti valver and cant for the life of me find the ignition live???????????????any 1 any ideas if so wot colour should i be looking for

whip out your multimeter n work your way through em

tap into the red and black wire that goes to the heater fan swtich  :wink:

The one on mine comes from the right hand side of the dash and is blue, to check for it just earth it with a live tester and then switch on the ignition  :smiley:
