Title: golf mk4 2.0gti starting problems, please help
Post by: meadowmonet on 07 May 2006, 18:28
Can anyone help?

When I start my car in the morning it starts fine but cuts out straight away.  If I start it then sit with my foot on the accelerator at about 10000rpm until it warms up it is fine. Once it is running and warmed up it is fine.
Does anyone know what may be causing this?

Please help!

Try the coolant temperature sensor as its a quick to do and common mk4 fault. If not could be something to do with fuel delivery. Got any more information on engine size, mileage etc
