To be honest they are growing on me. Hey if they save your paint they may be worth looking silly.

I'm going to the US this month and I'm getting some from a US supplier, which is the complete front bra and not that little crappie bra... so it protects all your front of the car. I will get confirmed pricing once out there, so if your interested pm me.

How about a g-string
-
I dont mind these bonnet bra things, think they can look alright on the right car

Hmmm I still think car bra's are
I mean ok, you want to protect your lovely paintwork and underneath that piece of tat your paintwork is lovely................but you're driving round with your pride and joy looking like a piece of sh!te!!!
Do you have you car looking cr@p indefinately to keep it looking it's best for the next fortunate owner???

I think these are great for long journeys as motorway driving you do get alot of chips on the front of the car and if your cars a show car and you drive it to the shows. I know if I spend alot of money on a restored VW, I'd want some protection for the front of my car!
You have to be very careful with car bra's as well, as some of them sweat underneath in the hot weather and that isn't good for the paint work.
They have a purpose and we all have our views on them, but in the real world, who needs a bra, live natural and free for the lads!!!!

The main thing that puts me off getting one of these when i get a re-spray is the fact a small stone could slip under the bra at low speeds and do loads of damage scratching the paint inside the bra!!
I'd like to see this full-bra that you're getting from the US though..
-
i quite like the sort of "euro" look they give a car. Not sure whether i would buy one tho. I posted up about them before:

ASi keep saying, they are not their to look good, they are there to protect your car. Simple really.
-

These things are very common in the states, on all types of vehicle! Americans will travel 200miles a day, just getting to and from work, mostly on concrete highways... that'll kill your paint in a month or so, anyone been fast down the concrete runway at Bruntingthorpe, then inspected they're car afterwards for road rash will know what I mean!
The air cooled VW guys also seem to like these things, quite a few sporting bra's at Stanford over the weekend.. though not for everyone, I have to admit.........
