Title: mk1 cabb, dash panel wont come off, grrrrrrrrrrrrr(help) (plz????)

sup guys,
 like i said, mk1 cabby.

   so i got this panel that needs changing, its the one that sits under glove box, instruments and steering wheel, it go`s the full width of the dash, the lowest fascia panel.  I can see that theres 4 or so fastenings holding it on but cant figure them out. :cry:

funny thing is, i got a Donner car and cant get the bugger of that either :sad:

i would definitely appreciate the help :tongue:

OMG!!!!, i just read a link about "how to remove a dash" on my car.  It appears to me that a dash removel is the way to do it!, is this true!  is there no other way!  :shocked: :wink:

It's been about 3 - 4 years since I looked at a mk1 cab (thanks vix), but I think I removed it without removing the whole dash. There were a number of little hidden parts holding it all on though.

its just held in with screws hun...go along the whole length of that panel..ul probs have to take the screws out of the bit where ur gear stick is too. Its p!ss easy..promise :smiley:

AS dinx says, there are screw along the lower dash panel and I believe two screw underneath at the ends as well. easy to do...
