i found this ad on the net and wondered what every1 thought it is not far away from me either

yeh i thought GL's were the autmoatic versions of CL's.
its a tidy motor though. u could probably get one cheaper.
do you know how many miles? its probably alot if they dont mention it in the add.

i thought GL was the highest trim model for non GTIs?

GL are 1.8 carb 90bhp
CL are 1.6 carb 75bhp
both have manual and auto versions.

ah ok. jsut every mk2 GL i have seen tends to be a automatic for sum reason. mabey alot of them were made into automatics.

Should have most of the extras being on an "H", but I reckon you could get a lot better for cheaper. Keep looking mate

If its low mileage and you can knock him down then should be a good buy.
