Title: Driveshaft spline tool key

Hi,

Just tried to take driveshafts off from gearbox however I need a spline tool key.

My mate can get me one however he needs to know what size I need.

I dont have a clue and haynes doesnt help with this.

Anybody know what one i will need?

Make sure it's multispline.

Yeah definately agree there, if you attempt to use an ordinary allen key it will strip the splines. I know GSF does a three piece kit which comes with the spline tools for the driveshaft and head bolts plus an adaptor for fitting to a 1/2 inch drive ratchet for about a tenner. :smiley:
