Post by: Jowe-ziff on 29 April 2006, 17:42
i have a 1.6 '92 driver and was wondering how to fit single lights because i prefer the look but the inner lights are full beam if im not mistaken and the outer ones are just normal lights

how to do i make it all work in one light?

thanks :)

Hi there,

the outer lights have dipped and full beam, so you disconnect the wiring to the inner spots, take the grill out and swap in a single light grill, job done, hope this helps.

As said above you just unplug the spotlights and thats it but be aware that you do lose a lot of light when on full beem but if most of your driving is on well lit roads it doesnt really matter

so basically i jus forget about what the inner lights do and jus wire up the outer ones?

im planning on outting big bumpers on as i only have a driver could i put some bright lights ionto the bumper for when i do actually need them then?

thanks

Yes you could put lights in the bumper, you may be able to get a set of bumpers that allready have fog lights in the front but then you'll have to wire those up

If you're worried about loss of light the the way to go is an uprated headlight loom and bulbs with a higher power rating.
