Title: norfolk dealers....new cars
Post by: pat1967 on 29 April 2006, 11:25
I was just wondering if anyone had any dealings with dealers in the norfolk area?....been reading through previous comments, seems to me level of service varies from dealer to dealer, when I spend 20 grand on a car, I want great service, I have never bought a new car before or owned a vw before. I have always bought 12 month old cars, but because Gti's holds it's value so well might as well pay little extra and have a brand new one!!

Wolsey VW in Ipswich have been nothing but excellent with me - although they are in Suffolk.  As for a 12 month old GTI I would definitely go for a new one given the strong residuals and probability that someone has given it a good thrashing and maybe not even run it in properly, in the knowledge that they are going to part-ex it in a year or so...

I took my SEAT there for servicing when the Ipswich franchise closed.
It probably went six or seven times, and I had no problems with them at all..........except for never once giving it a wash !
