Hi,

Couple of people asked for piccies so here they are along with a few other pictures of my car.

Hi,

I'm not actually even sure its been lowered, i bought the car with the current suspension so cannot be sure, but they do not appear to be aftermarket so think it's just that my front shock's are shagged lol.
Getting the anniversery lights next week, then need to save some cash for things other than the car. After that though coilover's are next on the list.

Still undecided about the grill, suits the bumper valance but considering going back to a standard but de-badged grill. Could do with a photoshop of it if anyone's got a minute.

check the colour of the springs, will tell you if they are standard or aftermarket

Hi,

Yep springs are usual rusty black colour and shocks have the vw/audi logo on them so it would appear to be all standard.

Yep the rims are 18" R32 replica's in hyper silver, i was originally going to go for 19's but after weighing up the price of tyres and also you can only get R32 rims in 18's i decided to get these.

Here's one last picture of the back end just so you get an idea of what the whole car looks like although this is in the plans to be changed too!

I'm 99% sure there standard, unless you could get lower shocks as an optional extra. Anyway there coming out nearer the end of summer in return for some coilovers  :drool:

Thanks mate,

Couldnt find the weight of the wheels i'm afraid mate, the bathroom scale's have run out of battery and they didnt print it on the delivery ticket. They dont feel over heavy though if thats any use  :huh:

the ride height does look standard i think its the wheels that makes it look low or it could be cause on some of the pics the car is at a slight angle

it looks real good anyway  :grin:

where u get the 20vt badge from on the back btw

Hi,

The front is definatly lower than standard, why i dont know which i why i thought maybe the shocks were fooked, the back appears to be standard (for a minute) though.

It's off a seat leon mate, just don't go telling everyone as it's fairly unique at the moment  :nerd:
