is it possible to put power steering on my 1992 1.6 driver?

if so how much and is it a pain in the arse to do??

it is possible, you just need to get a kit and fit it on really, just make sure you get EVERYTHING including the steering column universal joint & boot, rack mounting bush, brackets, reservoir, pulleys etc.

Any MK2 kit from a 1.6 upwards will fit as well, all the brackets are the same and the mounting s are present on the block.

Ideally its an engine out job, but apparently its doable by dropping the subframe a bit, though you risk shering off the mountings which is an even bigger job than an engine removal!
