Funny enough was looking at one of those engines in a scrapyard the other day and was trying to work out whether it would fit in a mk2 looks like it does!!

I didn't think the other guy stuffed the launch, if he did it's probably cos he shat himself when that golf took off! Theres some pretty decent vw videos on that site, there's another mk2 with a vr6 engine and a supercharger! It's not racing though, but my god it looks awesome. I'll see if I can find the link...

The other car didn't stuff it's launch. Look closer and you will see he has to kick into second before the red first 1/4 line runs out down the middle. No wheel spin either. Fast as fook car and i would be surprised if it didn't do a 11sec.
