Title: decent alpine components?

ok i have been looking on the net but not sure which are are really good buy for about 100 squid, I am after Alpine really, with crossovers. cheers

A little bit over budget but the Alpine SPR-17LS are a good set  :smiley:

I'd recommend Alpine's Type S range over the Type R. The value for money is a lot better. There is no noticable different IMO.

ive got the Alpine SPR-17LS and der very gd quality, bought dem brand new from ebay for a lil ova £100  :wink:

dizzie I've heard sumone else say that as well. also with the subs as well. is the difference noticeable??

Coz i've just blow my type r subs, and was looking to replace them with either the Kenwood KFC-WPS1202D or type r??

u can get a set of last years infinity kappa series 60.5 components for 100quid, and there nice speakers.
as far as subs go, the alpine type s & r are nice subs, but for a few more quid im quite the fan of the polk momo stuff. it starts at about 120 quid. ive got one of the MM120's which is one of there classic style subs running off a JL audio 500/1 and it sounds nice.
