Title: Too Much Oil??

Hi.

Had my GTI for a couple of weeks now. Only done 300 miles, but its great (glad i went for the DSG).

Just looked under the bonnet and there seems to be too much oil (Guesstimate about 1/2 litre). There is a sticker in the engine bay saying "DO NOT OVERFILL". Should i take it back and ask them to sort it, or leave it alone.

I know a little extra oil never hurt, but don't want to do any damage.

Any thoughts appreciated. :smiley:

Any one else noticed the met. black paint seems to be really susceptible to marks??

too much oil = f**ked engine - take it back dude!

Yes it is - on all makes!
