Title: Question for Dizzie!
Post by: Thom89 on 24 April 2006, 00:33: Hi.. Ive been looking at the wheels on the black golf on your sig picture, are they G60 wheels? and do you know if centre caps can be fitted to cover the bolts for a smooth finish...

1. its not black! its aubergine, but i think it has a different 'official' vw name :P 2. yes they are g60 steels and 3. yes you can get bolt covers

Mine were Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£33.58 plus VAT each, part number 357601025M.

Round centres were Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£9.63 plus VAT each, part number 357601149DV7L. These completely cover the wheel nuts and are flush with the face of the rim.

If you do order them from the stealers, check them properly when you pick them up. They aren't a normal stock item, and when they get sent to the dealership they are just in a cage - VW only send alloys out in boxes, not steels.

The wheels on ebay start at Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£160, I think without looking, pretty much in the same ball park as the dealer items, with the vat.. only the delivery cost nothing from the dealer
Probably get some ordered next week........

I like my wheels without centre caps. There as usually the black caps on ebay regularly for Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£5 + Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£10 P&P

JV, I am going to put this into practice :laugh:

The black centres are available approx Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£3.65 and also the full flush centres in silver approx Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£9, the unlimited supply on eBay guilt again yes, all our stock from the VW distribution depot in Conventry comes fully vetted and gauranteed for a quality finish.

Any forum member on here after a set then let me know direct via this site, PM me and I can supply a set away from eBay at a better rate for the club members without the eBay fees, the set on Dizzie's car were also originally supplied by us.
