Title: Whats the best oil to put into my Golf.

I have a mk1 gti with a 1.8 mk2 gti engine. Want to do an oil change. What Oil should I use. Was thinkin of usin synthetic 15/40. Not sure if that is right though. :huh: Grateful for any advice peps. Cheers

that silver stuff from gsf is good stuff for the money mate, 10/40 semi-synthetic about 9 quid.  if its a high milage or worn engine (burning a bit of oil, topping up every now and then) try the blue stuff 20/50.  thinner oil is better if your engines healthy like, gets up round your head quicker which is always nice  :kiss:
