Title: Mk3 Central Locking prob

Small prob with the central locking on my MK3 - it don't work.
Not  a problem until I came to fill it up and noticed the petrol filler flap was locked shut!!
Anyone got any ideas why the central locking has failed?
It did make a load noise when it worked - presumed this was normal. ???

might be due to an air leak?

the pump in the boot may have packed up try to see if there is any presure or a live feed to the pump ?
