Welcome to  the cabrio winter drivers club ,Mate.
I usually leave the seat tilted forward to stop it going on the seat itself, and just let it drip onto the back then

its not something a new hood would fix then?
Looks like its running down the rubber seal.

My hood is only 18 months old, and it still does it. the roof has no guttering, so the water needs to flow somewhere - usually straight onto the seat!!

same problem! compounded  by a horizontal split in the fabric each side. I dont want to spend out on a new hood until easter so i've tried gaffer tape and solvent free evo-stik but nothing sticks to the hood, except dirt! should i just use mud and horse hair or is their a better way. I think i used a pair of old pvc boots and general purpose glue on my old spitfire III but i cant remember :-\

It only drips when you open the door, the seal is good enough to put it through those big American style carwashes, without any problems

Well me 2. Not fortunate enough to have garage. Car is only used occasionally so has a pool of water on bot seats when I use it. I have some waterproof overcovers which catch most of it but its not ideal. Also the car is very steamy when I drive for the first few miles. Spose I'll just put up with it. Anyone tried changing the rubber seals.GPC do the front and above door seals.

Have you tried adjusting the two hooks that clamp the hood on to the top of the screen , you'l nedd a 10mm spanner, an clean all the seals an wipe over with vasaline an then wipe it off with a clean cloth, ive normally found this to work
