Ok, so I got a call this morning from my brother saying that his mk3 was steaming as he pulled into work this morning, and was just wondering if anyone knows a likely cause for this? Do the mk3's suffer from any common problems like the mk2 like a dodgy temp sender or dodgy coolant reservoir cap??? He drives a k reg 1.8 gl.

did he look to see where the steam was coming from?
