I've been looking at some of the chips sold on e-bay and I'm interested to see what other's on here have to say as I'm interested in getting one but not too convinced about how much good they'll be !

They are exactly what you would get if you went to a big company like superchips. This guy sells them for what their worth though! To make them costs pennies! I would buy 1 for this price any day. Dont expect miracles, they will make an improvement over standard but dont expect your car to feel supercharged all of a sudden.

Thats fine I'm not expecting it to be pinning me back in the seat, just wondered if the benefit was worth the outlay. Sorry don't mean to hijack your thread Maksimus !

Ive heard that you get the best gains if you already have a modified motor. i.e induction, exhaust, cam.

Fitted a Gstar chip to my digi 2weeks ago and was surprised at the difference in torque, revved better aswell but more impressed with normal drivin improvements!didnt notice any better consumption but get up2speed with so much less effort.Tesh is freakishly helpfull aswell, takes a genuine interest in how u have got on with fitting the chip.Payed a bit more but was happy with my purchase.Would also like2add that rubb john&slick have given the best advice i have come across-top guys!!!Also drove a 911 GT3 today and have to say those modified BEETLES are awsome ha.
