Title: Lumpy power steering ??

Bought myself a MK3 16v a few weeks ago and its all good, but I've noticed the steering feels a bit lumpy and wobbly on full lock.
Should I be worried as its not really causing a problem !

get under the car and check the boots on the steering rack are ok.  a dickhead who did my tracking once wrecked mine and caused similar symptoms.
