Title: Wiring

For some reason I have got 13 wires poking out of the dash on my MKII:

red - +ve not controlled by the ignition
Brown - earth
Grey/blue tracer - lighting circuit
Brownred tracer x 2
White/yellow tracer
Red
Blue
Brown/white tracer
Brown/black tracer
Brown/blue tracer
Blue/Green tracer
Red/Green tracer

I don't appear to have a live from the ignition but I can sort that. Any ideas which of those aboveare for the front and rear speakers?

The wiring on mine has turned out to be a bit of a challenge but what I do know is this

1. Blue wire / ignition live
2. Blue and Grey / Dimmer
3. Green / elec aerial
4. Green and Blue / left rear
5. Brown and Red / Left rear
6. Green and Red / Right rear
7. Brown and Black / Right rear
8. Red and Brown / Perminant live
9. Brown / Earth

I have a wire that don't appear to be doing anything, it is :- Yellow and white.

The front speaker wires on mine are Blue, Red, Blue and Brown, White and brown.
I don't know which wires are left/right or pos/neg as my car has aftermarket wiring to the front speakers, If anyone else can shed a bit a more light on this it would be great. But I hope this helps a bit  :undecided:
