Hi Guys
I have just done the unthinkable and placed my car on e-bay, was hoping to get some feedback as to what you all thought of it and my chances of selling it.
unfortunatly the photos came out naff, it seems that polishing it all up nicely gave it a big glare on the pics.
Anyway the auction number is 4631867632 any feedback would be good.
I dont wanna sell it but now im going to be a dad i dont think 2 doors are enough.

what are you hoping to get for it? ie, the reserve?

looks tidy enough.. £1200 quid is a high starting bid though m8, good luck though

HI, CHEERS FOR THE REPLYS, THE RESERVE IS ONLY A FRACTION OVER THE STARTING PRICE SO SOMEONE MIGHT GET A BARGAIN. I STARTED IT A BIT HIGHER HOPING THAT PEOPLE WOULD REALISE IT IS NOT LIKE THE NORMAL CRAP YOU SEE ON FLEA BAY. HOPE IT DOSNT BACKFIRE!
DO THE PHOTOS LOOK AS BAD AS I THINK THEY DO , IM REALLY PI~*ED OFF ABOUT THEM

I've got 2 kids 7yr and 6month old my 3dr is enough, Baby be at front for 1st 9 months. I was going to sell mine when had my little girl its ok, 3drs cool no worries. :smiley:

Two doors are more than enough, we had two little uns when we had a 3 door Mk3 Golf GTi and my other half had a bread van type polo, from a safety point of view there is one less set of door handles they can play with...
If you do flog it, get a Mk3, increased safety (door bars + airbags) plus more space inside.

cheers for the advice but i have taken a kid out in the golf before and although it is do-able,it is a real pain in the butt.
So i think the time has come to sell the mk2 and get a vr6,

Your mk2 looks fine in the pictures, anyone whose ever seen an average red golf will see that the painwork is really good.
I think it should sell with that low mileage and good condition.
What you need now is a 5 door MK3 VR6!
