I went for a remote start alarm fitting, the coil around my ignition barrel got damaged, does anyone know how to start and run the car. mk 4 golf only ticks over for 2 secs or so then dies!!! Or what i need to change to get it back to normal? :sad: :sick:

you will need a new coil as I'm guessing it can't read your key now :(

Not sure what your options are there. the ecu is cutting out after 2 secs because of it's imobilisation bits.
