Title: Another Mk 2

Hi everyone,

I've had my Mk2 16V for about a month and found this site the other week whilst escaping the boredom of work. 

She's the dark blue colour and has big bumpers, got her with 126000 on the clock but am already seroiusly close to 130000 so am going to have to look after her.  Unfortunately i've got use the car every day to get to work, and park it on the street so keeping it tidy is already becoming an effort, mothers with pushairs and birds with the s*I@s are all taking their toll!   

Hope to get to know you all in the next few weeks and hopefully get some hints and tips on VW ownership.  I'll try and post pictures when the sun comes out but there's no sign of it today in Bristol.

give it a good polish will help and make it easier to clean bird poo off
you could always put a car cover on it at night  :rolleyes:

hullo! welcome!

i have to drive mine to work every day too.... :sad: its an arse coz its got a habit of breaking down in traffic at the mo... and i have to drive into town everyday!!!
i'm planning to get a cheap runaround for work so my baby can chill and put his feet up during the week!


and i agree with slick..... 130k its still a baby! mines on 183k now!!
