Title: Save money for a 2Litre 16valve MK3 GTi engine or go with 8valve replacement?

Hi,

My engine is knackered I think, so I am thinking of getting a replacement.  Dont know whether to stick with an 8valve engine or go ffor a newer 2 litre 16 valve one from mk3.

What do you think?
