according to whatcar your doing 0-60 in 8.7, the pug is 8.4. the pug has a top speed of 131, and you'll be 4 light of that.

so, personally, i wouldnt race them, unless you have a clear advantage - eg weigh less, and have virtually have no fuel on board. a bad gear change on either side will decide the winner.

sod the spec sheets thats what vw's are all about!!, slow stats from the factory, get a nutter driver behind the wheel and a well run in motor and youll have fun!!! reaction is the key to racing!!!!< 1st off the line 1st to change gearetc give em a race i bet your suprised!! 8)

Gonna burst the GTI bubble hear... The 206GTI is faster.

136Bhp (approx) Vs 125Bhp. Plus the Pug is lighter.

soz... its not alot faster unless its the 180Bhp

oh well lets hope its all down to driver abillity give me a polo gti and ill race a 206 give me a few runs i could do it!! ;D
