Ok, I've seen this dash on the bay, and its fairly cheap, £35 buy it now:

I know it will need a lot of trial and error to fit, but does anyone have any advice for doing this? I don't want it to have any rattles or anything like that, I will be fitting in a carPC so the centre will be used for a touchscreen.
The things I'm not too sure about are:
- Fusebox, would this need to be replaced, or can I use the existing one in the mk2
- Supports, I have heard you have to use a crossmember from a mk3 for a mk3 dash conversion, but would this apply for a mk4 dash conversion?
- Heater, I want to change to a more reliable heater, would a mk4's heater fit, and what should I use for the heat ducting to the vents?
This is probably a question for the Dizzie one, but might be useful for others to see if they are thinking about doing a dash swap...

not sure about supports etc, but there is a fair amount of that dash missing from what i can see- clocks/ cage where radio or your pc idea would go/large bit under steering wheel/ heater & fan switches to name a few. might be cheaper to source one from a scrappy by the time you get hold of the missing bits. plus you have more of an idea of how to fit it etc. ps the fuse box is on the edge of the driver side of the dash.
Cool idea though, i'd be interested to see this conversion if you go ahead in the projects section

better off buying a complete dash
Find a non climatronic dash mate

hokey dokey, so it looks like looking round scrappies for smashed up mk4s...
could anyone get a couple of pics of a complete mk4 dash in car? High-ish res if possibleso I can do some photoshoppery with it...
Then I can get some ideas out of my head and in to (virtual) reality.
