Check the door seals, door card plastic bag thingy, windscreen seal, and all the bulk head grommets. If it has a sun roof, make sure that the drains are clear (blow down them with a piece of pipe). Not loosing coolant, is it?.

This sounds like the usual plastic door skin problem to me, check the bottom of the doorcards for wetness as soon as you can.

re- plastic door skin,
Any tips on the replacement of the waterproof membrane?
should garden type bin liner material stuck on with evo-stik be ok?
Any one replaced theirs yet?
-
Yeah, I used a Rubble Sack from B&Q (thick plastic) cut it to size and stuck it on with double sided carpet tape, no probs.

I replaced one of mine. I simply used a piece of plastic sheet that I cut to shape. Double sided tape works a treat for sticking it on.
I would have thought the plastic from a bin liner would be too thin.....unless its heavy duty or something like the rubble sack that 'essex_lad' used.

How important are those plastic skins? I ask because when I put my electric windows in I noticed mine were shredded so I took them off. This was months ago and I have had no problems what-so-ever

Believe it or not I think you'll find they are quite important. I probably didn't need to do mine as my cabrio doesn't do inclement conditions..........but yours is a day to day runner and you do run the risk of damaging the back of your door card and getting rain water in the car.
