I did read in some union paperwork today that VW are trying to get the workers to put some more hours in!!!  Good stuff I say  :wink:

Just out of interest do you know how much the dealer is going to offer you p/x? In what kind of price range - it would be good to know how much these cars are losing after the first few months.

Yes, let us know waht price you get for a part-ex... a new price and part-ex price comparision would be good.  I take it you bought the GTI from the main dealer?

Judging from what Main Dealer has said, if you are not happy with the PX price, it could be worth phoning around other VW dealers to get a bit of competition going!

The VW garage will DEFF want your car, but they may think they are exclusive negotiations, hence take the piXX a bit....

This seems to be par for the course with Porsche dealerships when p/xing nearly new Boxsters..

Hi The Doc.

You will have to let us know your opinion on the R32 against the GTI in due course. I'm not so sure on your mates wheels! :undecided: Perhaps they look better in the flesh.

Besides you only have 8 days before your new car arrives! At least you have a long weekend to say goodbye to your GTI. Have you booked the day off work?

LOOL I allways got the day of work LOOL

I'm the boss and I work from home so days off are easy!

I will let you all know what is what!

My initial thoughts are: GTI = More FUN, R32 = More SERIOUS

It would be great to keep em both!
