easy and quick? want to tint them...
:D
-
rear left one has 4 bolts watch out for the one holding the corner side bit it it will feel like u can take em off but it will be screwed so remebr to take the nut off or u will break the plastic right one is easy 3 bolts just take the lighting hraness out on both sides and its easy as pie but very fidly i wud put a bit of paper down at the bottom as the nuts have special holes in the frame where to pu tthe rachet so make sure u dont loose the bolts when u unscrew em.....30 minute job dont tine em liek a chav buy the gti or rssc lights
-
already got the gti lights, as i have a gti.....
i dont like how dark the hella ones are... so im just gonna lightly blow over with some smoke polycarbonate paint. just to tint the standards a bit darker
-
Like nad said they are a piece of p@ss, did mine last week 20mins in and out, there are not 4 bolts on the driver side tho but there is a small clip in the corner, so be V.careful not to snap this and if you drop the nuts then they are quiet easy to retrieve I dropped 3 of mine and got em no probs
-
thats what i said 4 on left one and 3 on right one
-
3 bolts drivers side... 2 passenger... one clip on each... they were a bastard! snapped one... oh well.
dropped 2 screws but ive got a cool tool to get them out again so it was all good , apart from almost stripping the thread off the bolts... they look good, ill get some pics up later.
cheers guys

4 on passenger the one u broke is the corner one and tu need a 10mm bolt for that too
-
So whats the final number lol is it 4 on the drivers side and 3 on the passenger. Taking mine out tomorrow to take the bumper off so I can remove the towbar off the car
-
did one at work other day, there are only 3 on the drivers side, and a pinch clip on the bottom outside right of the light, basically its an 8mm socket, extension arm, and ratchet you will need, unscrew the 3 bolts (DO NOT DROP - or you will lose them in the bodywork) then when they are loose you can pull it out so far, but then you have to use a fair bit of force to pop the clip out from the right of the light.
It's about a 5 min job to be fair.
-
yeah, they are easy, mine was just stuck like a f**k*r and it was starting to rain so i lost patience... :embarassed:
but hey ho, its done now and looks sweet, ill get pics up tomorrow when ive waxed her xx
