I own a mk3 diesel as well as a mk2 gti. thing is, i need to replace the glow plug control unit. ive got a price from the main stealers. thing is, ive gone to look for it above the fuse panel where i was told it was, and it aint there! does ANYBODY know where this 2 inch by 1 inch box is? i saw from the one in the dealers, it looks like its going to have some pretty heavy gauge cable going to it! screw connectors and the such..................................................HEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPP!!!! :undecided:

According to haynes the unit is above the relays. from memory that means you'll have to remove the whole lower part of the dash to get near it.
