Title: New Tyres
Post by: Bovvered on 26 November 2003, 22:24
Im looking to change the tyres on my mark 3 VR6 shortly and wondered if you boys had any tips on a reasonably priced but good performance set to consider?

I dont know too much about these but I had a set of what I think were called dark horse tyres on a previous car and they seemed to be superb.

cheers.

You dont say what size rims your running but doesnt really matter, ive found Falkens to be good in most weather conditions and they look good too! what i mean is the sidewall and tread pattern dont shout BUDGET all over them!

Obviously go for the best you can afford, especially on a VR6, Michelin are good, may cost you a few quid more but good handling in all weather conditions and excellent wear will pay you back long term.
Dont go for Toyo they wear out too quick!
