Title: Wheely difficult dilema!!!
Post by: tobz. on 03 April 2006, 13:43
Just want some views on this one guys

I've got a bit of a wheel surplus going on and I've got a mate who's dying to buy some alloys.
I've got a set of estorils and a set of BBS RA's laying about.
I resprayed the estorils as winter wheels a while back but underneath they are in perfect unkerbed condition.
The BBS are in fairly good nick but would benefit from a refurb to look their best.

I'm not sure if I can bear to part with either, the BBS are required if I ever want to go for the totally standard look, but the estorils would look so sweet if I had them stripped polished and laquered.

Should I sell and set and if so which do you think it would be best to hang on to?
OR should I just continue to be a hoarder and keep them both?

Cheers tt, ideally I would keep them all. My girlfriend currently has the estorils on her driver but that is likely to be sold soon and it just seems crazy keeping all these wheels stashed in the shed (there are currently three complete sets and two trashed azev a's in there).
At the moment I'm leaning towards selling the BBS as they are in worse condition and quite easy to pick up another set if I really regretted it.

Cheers mr.s I think you've confirmed what I've been thinking, even the missus said keep the estorils as I've got plans for them. My car doesn't see the road from the end of november through to march so winter wheels are no longer an issue. Looks like the bbs will be on their way shortly.
