Title: best way to sort wiper hole (at front) any ideas???

ok the blanking plug at the front for the wiper arms is gonna need attention this summer just wondering best way to sort it ta guys

i had the same prob with mine last year. i removed the wind screen and welded in a new panel before having the car painted.
i think my wife's is going to need the same thing. it wont last another winter.

You could just have it cut out so its flat then plated and skimmed flat then painted !

yeah mig it up best you can and fill the remainder. look to it with a view of using as little filler as possible.

but from wat i can see there is something attached underneath for the wipers?!? will try sort it tho

any one else got any ideas?

Could stick some wire mesh to the underside of the hole with some fibreglass/filler.  Then just skim over the top with some filler and then paint to suit.  Might have to do this to mine soon too!
