ok i need some help chaps :)

as ive marked on the pictures, but i need a picture or information

the top picture i have 2 non return valves, so what pipe goes to what one ?
on the choke i have two pipes, inlet and out let, what connects to them ?

2nd picture i dont have that connector, i have more pipes any idear what goes to it ?

i do hope you all bear in mind iam not working on this car ;), but my bro is and after doing the o'ring his now got all these pipes he dosent know where they go :(, so if any one has pictures or there engine is the same can you please shed some light to these :)

ps the o'ring was totaly blocked so you guys where right :)

im pretty certain that connector is the warm up for the auto choke to stop it freezing shut. i would connect up your car like the pics n see wat happens

The big pipes are coolant pipes from the inlet manifold & waxstat.  That connector is for the electric heater in the autochoke, if its missing, you need to get another one!  Your car is defo a 1.6/1.8 Carb right?  Actually, is it an automatic?

As for the non-return valves, this any help?

yup is 1,6 automatic

i dunno if the picture will help. il pas it on

as for the auto choke its not missing it pipes i think instead af a connector, i cant rember dont help ;(, but my brother couldnt find anything like it in the haynes manual

il ring him and get more information later :)

Ah well you might have the bit labled '1' on the back of the autochoke as well:
