Title: bonnet lifters

can anyone who has these please tell me the length of these? i want to fit some to my car (not a golf) and just wondered if they'd fit as theres loads on e-bay.

I bought some cheap ones and they went really rusty :(

I didn't bother removing them from my blue mk2 when it was scrapped.

The ones I've got are fine they even survived when someone hit me head on and wrote off my first Golf, lucky they were on there they stopped the bonnet comming through the windscreen !

thanks for the replies. they're for the engine lid on my mr2 as the clip for the stay has broke. i only need one but the mr2 specific ones on e-bay are £30, when Golf ones are less and i get a spare one too!
