Title: turd running when cold

hi all, my car seems to stutter when cold? you put your foot down and it kind of pauses, now once its warm it runs fine! is this normal? since i have had the car it used to idel at 2000 revs! fixed that and it now runs at 1000, do they always run a little off when cold? rob  :smiley:
