Title: what wheels for my mk3 gti???

what sort of wheels do you reckon i should go for, 1, 2 or 3(1,2,3 in 18's) (or the audi tt competitions 17's)

number 1's deffinately.  i need help aswell, dont want to go too big as i've been spanked by my insurance company so cant afford tyres. i was thinking of 17's but dont know which design. anybody with any ideas please let me know.

wheels have been purchased and look loveeeely. im not going to say which ones i have got but i have taken pictures of the car when i first bought it and im going to take pictures of it once i have finished modding it.  i will be posting a before and after thread listing my mods (nothing major just subtle and sleek) WATCH THIS SAPCE.  pictures to be here before or over the weekend.  comments welcome once thread is posted.  thank you all for your advice and opinions so far.
