Title: indicator problem

My 1990 valver has developed an annoying problem. When indicating to turn left it will not self cancel. Also if I fully click the stalk home against its stop (turning left) then it does not come on. It comes on if I stop it fully clicking home. I would have thought that the switch is knackered but I have tried a used replacement and it does the same.

Anyone come across this before?

PS - I know its a boring as sh** post!

what steering wheel are you using?

Its a leather bound G60 jobbie that was on the car when I bought it more than 2 years ago. Fault only developed when I changed the wiper stalk. As I say I have tried 2 and they both do the same thing. The little cam for cancelling looks OK to me.
