whats the best ones to buy guys?
-
round ones :P
its prefernce sugar think most probably use bosch or ngk, there isnt an advantages to using one over the other just price.
-
its got bosch in it now, had them a year n half now, so i think i should change them really, along with the leads and give it an oil change lol, just wondered if there was anything better out on the market
-
bosch do a standard plug and the one with the 4 bits over the point instead of the one, i dont have a clue if there is any major advantages to this except more metal for the spark to jump too. hope its not been 18 months since you changed the oil lol.
-
no that got done 6months ago along with a filter and one pissed off dad (another person who gets injured when they work on my car :undecided: ) but since i have a 2.0 that loves to drink oil it like has new oil in it all the time
-
NGK platinums I use, dunno if they make a difference tho :undecided:
-
split fires are supposed to be good but i have bosh super 4's in mine at the mo!
-
I use NGK Platinums in my crosser and the throttle response is mad as fook and it runs a dream compared to standard plugs!!!
not much help to you tho! (but on this basis I will get them for my golf )

If you change the plugs every 6k, then it's not worth buying the fancy ones, TBH. It's only worth it, if you're are gonna leave them in there for a while, as they have a longer life than the standard plugs. (Or if you've got a modded motor).
Denso Iridium's are supposed to be very good. But is it worth the extra lay out.....???
