Is there any way to clean up the headlights so they are as new, or is it the plastic itself that goes dull?
-
you can take them off and rinse some petrol around the inside of them, i did this to my old ones, and they were nice and sparkly afterwards. Just be careful though as it is muchos flammable.
-
if you dont fancy petrol then fill them with hot soapy water, mine looked nearly crystal clear after that
-
That takes away the risk tho!
howabout Cillit Bang?
-
yeah, or wonder wheels
-
carefull with the petrol or u might just get cillit BOOM!!!!!!!!
-
haha,
'why did your car explode when you turned the headlights on?'
'Oh, erm, because there was petrol in them :embarassed:'
-
DOH, lol

If they've just got muck in them then hot soapy water should do the trick - I used a bit of sponge on the end of a stick to encourage the crap to shift poked through the bulb hole. But if they're tarnished then its new ones I'm afraid.
