Title: Break lights dont work?
Post by: Danny on 27 March 2006, 04:01
So my Cabby is coming along. I need some suggestions on what could be checked or replaced. My regular lights work in the rear but when i apply the breaks the lights dont brighten red? What can be some things to check? Thanks.

Ok I'll check that. Is there a kinda switch behind the break pedal?

I think the switch might be on the brake servo itself, though I could be wrong.  On a MK2 its defo on the pedal so it might be on a later cabby as well :)

I had the same problem and it turned out to be 1 duff bulb and 1 bad contact, cleaned both bulb trays up & fitted shiny bulbs and all was well :)
