Title: How much for my mk2
Post by: dal xr on 27 March 2006, 00:02: Thinking of selling the beast on people.... just thinking but wnted to gauge a rough price first

Here are my pics and here is a quick run down on her.

Engine:

130,000 mile's 1800 gti k-jet kr engine code running 158 bhp.
Stainless manifold and full system exhaust.
New head 1000 miles ago.
K&N panel filter.

Body:

You can see by the pics it is very clean.
Single headlight grille
Crystal clear front and side indicators.
Matt black bonnet.
Tint's.
Lay flat wipers done all round.
Black badge set.

Suspention:

Koni adjustable's all round.

Brakes:

280's up front cross drilled

240's ibelieve not sure if this is standard crossdrilled rears.

Wheel's:

Brand spanking new G60's on brand new 195 45 15 rubber
With trick gti centre caps.

Interior:

Rainbow seat's pretty clean but have got a few mark's
Momo sterring wheel
Cd head unit
5.5's in the door
6x9's in the parcel shelf.

Mot till sept 06, tax'ed for 6 month's

Any ideas on price's peeps.

Post by: Deefadog on 27 March 2006, 09:23: That is very clean and looks well looked after, although it's styled in quite an individual taste, i mean it's not standard :) So may not apeal to everyone! I like it though :)

I would guesstimate at around 1800 - 2200 for her! It's hard to say unless you see her in the flesh though!

Just wanted to gauge a rough price for her as i am in two mind weather to sell her or not atm.

But for my own sake i want to sell her to try and better myself abit ya know.

Don't worry i am still going to stay vw but i will be looking for just a little run around polo until i hit the big 25Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â :grin: :grin: And i can get my insurance to an amount i am willing to pay lol

But lets put it this way i looked at atleast 25 mk2's before i bought this one as it was the cleanest and best driving one out of them all.... I have seen total dog's up for Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£1500 so mine should be worth a fair bit more.

Really wish i could say what they were :grin: :grin: Sadly they were on there when i got the car lol Good thing i dont have to sit in the back ay lol.

Should really give them a wet vac, i bet they would come up a treat :rolleyes:

Just be patient selling it, good money is worth waiting for :smiley:
