Hi,
The word synchro mean's that it's four weel drive I belive.
G60's were only used in the Mk2 golf and corrado in this country. (I think you can get aG60 Passat in Germany)
I am not sure about the performance of the G60 something like 160 BHP
as standard for the mk2 golf G60.
I hope that helps and Im sure someone will corect me if I have got eanything wrong.

the only time g60 golf's have been available in the UK is in one of the few official UK Rallye's. all other g60 golf's have been brought in from abroad and will be left hand drive.
they were available in Germany as mk2 gti g60, edition one, fire+ice etc etc. not forgetting the infamous mk2 16v g60 "limited"
"synchro" is VW's term for it's four wheel drive system

Synchro is a permanent 4 wheel drive system with power transfer split 60/40, mainly to the front unless otherwise required. This is different to the quattro system on the Audi as that is a 50/50 distribution.
