Title: New wipers

With all this lovely rain my wipers have pretty much worn down to nothing and need changing.

What kind of wiper blades do I need ? there bosch ones on at the moment and they were fine. Going to vchange the back on too one its way out.

golf 1.6 (petrol) 2001.

Just bought Bosch wipers a few days ago.

These are the ones you need:

Front (double pack) : 21/19AS
Rear (Single):  13

Will pick them up tommorow.

Never fitted wipers before hope its not to fiddly.

 :embarassed: actually while I'm asking does anyone know how to do it, is it just a clip type attachment ?

I see so many people every week with wiper problems at work. They are very simple to fit
Lift the arm of the wiper up fully
Turn the blade upside down
Some will just pull down off the U hook and some have a switch that needs to be pressed in on the blades connector and then you pull
New bosch ones get them the right way round so facing to the passenger side
Turn it upside down and push into place then turn it back round and your done
