:smiley:me again how can my wife get more power out of her 1.3 mk2??? what will fit from other engines or won't anything be compatible
-
get rid of the 1.3 ASAP!
replace with a 1.8 8v!!! they are cheap to get hold of they are cheap work upon they are reliable and pull like a horse.
Ditch the 1.8 digi crap and loom n stuff and just make the engine weber carb compatible. All this means is plonk a weber ontop of the TB LOL and blank the injector hole.
You will need a 1.8 8v gearbox as well. and if you do all the work yourself you could have a sweet little number for around £500-600

unfortunatly there little to gain from a 1.3  so really its another engine or another car, another car being the easiest option as if you but a big engine in youll obviously thav to upgrade your breaks etc too so alot of work, you could get a 1600/1800driver for around 300 quid if ya dont want the search for a good condition gti, fair performance cars+you can do cool things like stick a gti camshaft in it etc as its pretty much the same engine just with the injection system mine was 210 quid and twas completely mint  make 200-300 by selling the 1300 on and your sorted

pop down your local chav meets on sunday night.
huge spoilers and shopping list stickers gain at least 30-40bhp at the wheels. If that doesnt work go down the custom led washer jet route
