Title: Lumpy coming off the throttle
Post by: mpgscott on 25 March 2006, 09:30
Hi all,

Mk3 golf gti 8v

Managed to get the problems on the car sorted turned out to be a temp sensor and a faulty injector all credit to Volkscentre in Aberdeen  car is running very well and there price was very reasonable.

Anyway my only problem know is that when driving along and you come off the throttle the car is very spluttery/lumpy, also in 3rd or 4th at around 40mph it runs very lumpy. Also when cold it will stall until warm.

Could this be the ECU relay? or what could it be?

Being able to drive the golf is spot on and it goes really well glad i got one again.

Thanks for all your thoughts.
Mark
