hey got this idea from an earlier post am just wondering how to lay the rear wiper flat ?  is it just a case of unbolting it and moving round i dont know! hope someone can help cheers guys :rolleyes:

remove the cover on the tailgate
disconnect the arm off the motor. lay the wiper down and bolt the arm back on.
it should rest lay down then :)

look at the top of the mk2 page it has a maintenece and info page it tells you on there

I have been looking at the back off my golf from my office window, and i have rang home to check the 10mm spanner is around and i will be doing mine tonight, been meaning to do it for a while, just didnt realise it was that easy lol  :grin:

i did mine on a shell garage forecourt on the way home from buying it lol. but it wasnt the first one i have done lol!

and you can fix ANYTHING on a golf with a 10mm spanner.......

(interior anyway)

My grandad always lectures me telling me to always carry a 10mm spanner in the car in case i break down lol  :grin:
