Title: 1.8 8V - 2.0 16V Conversion

Hi people, new to the forum and am looking for some advice. I currently own a MK2 1990 1.8 8V Digifant Golf GTI and would like to convert the car to 2.0 16V spec. What do I need to carry out this conversion and if anyone knows of any other websites covering this then it would be most appreciated. Main concern is with the engine wiring loom and control units. i guess if you have a donor car then you you can just take as much of the wiring loom as possible. if you take it back to the fuse box then it should be a straight swap. it all depends on which engine you want, there are various 2ltr 16v's so this will have some variables as to how hard it is. to physically swap engines its pretty easy.
